My favorite Ichicoro branch in Florida!! I had some izakaya items (snack Items) that aren't available in the Tampa Bay branches. We had the chicken balls and oh my gosh! They're absolutely delicious!!! I also tried their green tea with syrup! It was absolutely one of the best drinks I've ever had. This place literally is so cool. It's underground and has a floor above it for more bigger groups. Please check this place out!
Unique dishes, some vegan options but the waiter Jacob wasn't very patient with our dietary preferences. Otherwise, nice setting, ambience, perhaps not as good for families. The caffeinated tea is not very sweet, just tastes like sesame oil. But the ramen and bowls were a great experience.
Ehh... Decided to give this place a try, since it was the buzz around town. The ramen was over priced for me honestly. And the broth was a bit salty. The atmosphere is grungy, dark, club type vibe. But overall experience was alright. I ordered to go. It's definitely not kid friendly. If your more on the conservative side to a dining experience with family.
It was wonderful. The staff was polite, accommodating, and helpful. You drop down a short flight of stairs into a venue that is intimiate and warm while still holding clean lines in design. Not only is it a pretty chill place to visit, but the food was quick to table and delish. Price point wise it was more afforadble than expected! We got 3 apps, 2 entrees, and a desert for under 70 with tip. Will def visit again.
I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The broth was very flavorful and rich without leaving you feel weighed down. Great meal. I had the poke bowl appetizer and it had the perfect amount of spice. Hot but not so hot you're going to regret it later. Service was top notch as well. Attentive but not overbearing. Seating was nice and open but still let you feel private.
I heard a lot of great stuff about this restaurant, they were all right. Walked in 8:30pm on a Saturday night. Got a table right away. Ordered a bottle of Sake which was nice, but unlike the food, was overpriced. Considering the environment and food that followed, I feel fine about dropping the money on the Sake. Ordered the mushroom skewer with egg yolk on the side, the Yukee which is a beef tartare dish, and beef bun for appetizers. All were delicious and our favorite was the Yukee. Next came japanese curry and the soupless ramen. The ramen blew our minds, so much flavor and texture!!! Best dish I've had in years. Finished with a coconut mousse that we shared. Atmosphere can be a bit dark and a bit loud for some, but all in all, an amazing culinary experience!
Amazing food & drinks here! Creative unique menu and great flavor! You must try the tuna and octopus as well as the the Honey Bubble Bun dessert!
This place is a solid 5 stars for food quality. π Order anything that says pork belly. Temperature and spiciness was perfecto. π I appreciated the menu giving me a fine education on bourbon and whiskeys. Bartenders are like 75% there mentally. Bonus Rant: I'm not sure what some of these negative reviews are talking about... Like the lady complaining that the food was too salty? WTH? Have you ever had Ramen or frankly any Asian food period - has a high concentration of sodium, lol news flash! We got here early for a late night show and it was amazing seeing them break down the place so quickly. If you do come for a show make sure you wear no clothes because it's a sauna freaking hot brick oven, even in the winter.
